For instance, to do a push-up you do not need a large portion of will power or time. Beyond that, the probability of overdoing the goal is large (i.e. you can do more, but always fulfill the minimum goal!)

This is different if you want to exercise 3 times per week for 60 minutes. Hence negative feelings that are usually associated with not achieving ones goal are prevented.
